MVP

D.Rose is the most exciting player to watch in the NBA this year. He could be this year MVP or MIP according to the Chi-Town Sun Times. Also, according to favorite players like Micheal Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Chris Bosh, and etc....... have their vote that Derrick Rose should be the won to take the MVP this year. "Once again, I think they have got the MVP of the league. That kid has come into his own. He has matured quite a bit. When he came into the league, everybody said he had speed, he could get to the rim, but he can't shoot. Now he can shoot—the three, as well as pull-up shots. He has very few flaws. I'm pretty sure the next thing they are going to say is that he doesn't play good defense, or he can't handle a double-team. Time will tell. The kid works hard and I think he's a great piece for this franchise to rebuild with."

Of course, I believe LeBron is a front-runner as well. Those two guys are the leaders of the MVP run. I'm going to be biased and choose my teammate. There's no question about it."

           I hope someday i will be able too meet the young beautiful actress/music artist/fashion designer. Keke Palmer is one of the fastest rising young stars of our generation. She has many success in film, music,fashion, television shows , and through communities. Keke Palmer is the type of girl that is wifey material in my eyes(lol). She was honor to receive an award from a wonderful organization called "Black Girls Rock" .It was started by a former model/ turned producer & DJ named Beverly Bond who used her many talents to start a mentoring program in New York totally dedicated to promoting positive images of African American woman. They not only chose KeKe Palmer to honor but also: (actress) Raven Symone, (songwriter producer ) Missy Elliot, (CEO Of Africa.com) Teresa Clarke ( author/motivational speaker) Dr. lyanla Vanzant and ( Major General ) Marcelite J. Harris , actress Nia Long was the Host. The Legend Award went to (Oscar Nominated actress/Civil Rights Activist) Ruby Dee! The award show will premier on BET, November 7th. Keke Palmer is so overwhelmed by her achievement and will give a speech when she accepted the award. Be sure to watch this on November 7th!!!

Producer of the Month: Jerry 'Wonder' Duplessis

 The field lies open before him, but producer Jerry "Wonder" Duplessis has already covered lots of territory since his work on the inital Fugees release, Blunted Reality, brought him to the attention of the recording industry in 1994. Superstars including Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Gloria Estefan and Stevie Wonder have turned to Duplessis, hoping that the golden touch he brought to The Score, which sold over 18 million copies, will work for them.




A native of the island of Haiti, Duplessis first appeared before the public as a member of a gospel band called Helping Hands that he and his cousin, Wyclef Jean (a founding member of the Fugees) formed. Traveling through the churches of the island and performing for different audiences gave the cousins an early education into what aspects of music touch people.



When he left Haiti, Jerry 'Wonder' Duplessis settled in New Jersey. Travel continues to play an important part in his musical development, as he moves around the world absorbing local cultures and artistic styles, which are later added to his musical bag of tricks. Back home in New Jersey, Duplessis works out of Booga Basement, the studio he owns and operates with his brother Renal and cousin Wyclef. Booga Basement is not simply a pre-production environment. Tracking and mixing on mega hits, including the Fugees remake of "Killing Me Softly," was also executed in this facility.



After establishing himself as a certified hitmaker, Duplessis turned his talents to movie soundtrack work. His artistic contributions have added emotional depth to When We Were Kings (a documentary on Muhammad Ali), Bullworth (starring Warren Beatty) and Ghetto Superstar.



Duplessis recently signed a major publishing deal with EMI-Blackwood Music and is developing his own label, Booga Basement Records as a joint venture with Interscope Records.
